ALEXANDRIA, VA – September 30, 2004 – Please join us in congratulating our client Halifax Corporation (Amex: HX) on its recent acquisition of AlphaNational Technology Services, Inc. Halifax Corporation provides enterprise maintenance solutions including a wide range of technology services to commercial and government customers throughout the United States. AlphaNational is a nationwide technology maintenance services company located in Fort Worth, Texas. This acquisition adds important new customers, expands the geographic base and increases the breadth of Halifax’s service offerings.
Fairmount Partners served as the exclusive financial advisor and structured and negotiated the transaction on behalf of Halifax. Dick Thatcher, Managing Director at Fairmount, headed the Halifax deal team and is the firm’s lead banker in the business & IT services segment.
